- Final score from Saturday…UCF 38, South Dakota 7. One down, 13 to go for the Knights! NC State will be losing to us next week in the Brighthouse.
- Not too much people watching excitement at the game this time. Probably the most interesting was the girl (probably a UCF sophomore) sitting behind us who said probably 4 or 5 times that she didn’t make it to any games last season because she was “soooo f’n wasted.” After about the third time I was tempted to turn around and tell her that the story wasn’t getting any more impressive. I mean, I hammered down about 5 or 6 Capn’ Jack and Cokes before the game and you didn’t hear me bragging.
- Just noticed that USF plays UF next week. USF has built their program on scheduling name teams when they happen to be having down years…looks like that trend might be continuing with UF. That being said…I’ll be rooting for multiple natural disasters in Gainesville on Saturday.
- Got in a little Trivial Pursuit down at the in-laws over the weekend. Unfortunately, due to time constrictions, we were unable to declare an official winner as no one completed all the tasks stipulated by the rules. Too bad…we had a good game going.
- Congrats to Boise St. on their big win over VaTech! Hope to see a Boise-UCF match-up in the BCS championship come January.
What is Capn' Jack? Is that a new vegan milkshake?

Guess you're not hip enough to be in the know about Capn' Jack...maybe someday.
